For Performers

Art 315A – Like the12”, but this one goes to… “15”

As a general purpose PA speaker, the Art 315a is similar to the 312a with the exception of being loaded with a 15” speaker. It also has a 1” titanium horn and a bi-amplified 350W self processing amplifier. The bass response and mid-range is different to the 312a in that it has a little more punch but not necessarily more real low bass. The overall output is slightly higher.

Add the Art 705AS 800W 15” sub bass to it and you have a powerful compact PA system that will easily take the whole band - handling loud full-range backing tracks without losing live vocals.

The Art 315a is also light to carry for its power and output, and , for the lazy,, it comes with an optional infrared remote control.

Apart from being a great front of house, use the Art 315a for:

  • Acoustic bass amplifier
  • Acoustic guitar monitor
  • Keyboard monitor
  • A really loud fold-back wedge

For DJ's

Art 315a – The perfect partner to a sub-bass

Need more punch or maybe you want a box that integrates well with a sub bass system? The Art 315a speaker cabinet is the same size as the 312a but loaded with a 15” speaker. It also has the 1” titanium horn and a bi-amplified 350W self processing amplifier. The bass response and mid-range is different to the 312a in that it has more punch but not more real low bass - the overall output is slightly higher. Not sure whether to go 12” or 15”… Listen to them and pick what your show needs.

The Art 315a is ideally matched with the RCF 705AS sub bass for bigger gigs. If you don't have the money for a bass system yet – just hire one for the bigger gigs. Lots of rental companies have these boxes.

Not just for mobile DJ party or small to medium size mobile venue playback. The 315a is great for;

  • Punchy and loud top section of a really kicking sub bass/mid high multi way powered system (See RCF 707AS)
  • Mighty loud DJ foldback
  • Distributed PA system in a multi room venue
  • Super gig realistic mix monitors

For Sound Engineers

Art 315a – More punch and a different sonic profile

As a general-purpose PA speaker, the Art 315a is similar to the 312a with the exception of being loaded with a 15” speaker. It also has a 1” titanium horn and a bi-amplified 350W self-processing amplifier. The bass response and mid-range is different to the 312a, in that it has a little more punch but not necessarily more real low bass. The overall output is slightly higher.

Add the Art 705AS 800W 15” sub bass to it and you have a powerful compact PA system that will easily take high SPL full range live or playback music.

The Art 315a is light to carry for its power and output and, for the lazy, it comes with an optional infrared remote control.

The Art 315a will handle loud full-range backing track without losing the live vocals and apart from being a great front of house, can be used as:

  • A good full range fold-back wedge (the bass EQ profile when coupled to the floor gives the 1/2 space loading a peak in the right place to retain clear vocals without the “boom”)
  • Acoustic bass amplifier
  • Acoustic guitar monitor
  • A keyboard monitor

* A note on claimed Vs actual power figures quoted by speaker manufacturers. RMS measurements are the official standard used in measuring Pro-audio power. 100 watts RMS is equal to 200 Watts “music” power and 400 watts peak power. When music companies quote power figures on their speakers they often quote music power to make their products look better – i.e. a 450-watt music power speaker is only really a 225 watt RMS speaker. RCF only quotes power figures in accordance with pro-audio IEC standards.
